Camo Socks

I made these socks for my son-in-law, he likes the thick warm socks. The yarn is is the camo pattern from Red Heart.  I used 42 stitches and size 6 needles for these socks. I have found that I really did not like working with 42 stitches because it means working with an odd number when it came time to work with the heal and toe. So I will share the pattern stitch I used for the sock:
Row 1-2: *k1, p2, k3*, repeat around
Row 3-4: Knit
Row 5-6: *k4,p2* repeat around
