These are quick and easy to do and may make a good beginner sock project.
However I fudge with this pattern all the time because I use a variety of different yarns with this pattern and have to adjust accordingly.
For this sock I looked through my stash and used some of the leftovers from other projects. I used Wool Ease for the dark blue stripe, Bernet Denim for the light blue, and a sport weight yarn I purchased in Germany for the pink.
My only complaint is that I ended with the same color I started, so you can see in the pic is that I have one thinker blue strip where the seam is.
Oh well...I guess it give the sock character
