Road Trip and Future Patterns

This weekend we traveled to Kansas to celebrate my grandson's birthday. Since I did not do any of the driving, it gave me a chance to work on my both of my socks. So I probably could of finished on of them instead of having to two almost finished socks.

I have some ideas on future patterns. I wanted to make a diagonal ripple pot holder. So forgetting it to go diagonal did not work out, but I did get it to go around, which could mean not just potholders, but potential bags, purses, etc.

Used up some handspun yarn, and made some more eggs and a net necklace. I could come up with a pattern for the necklace.

  6. Very nice, I'm wondering if beads can be worked into the necklace. Your potholder experiment reminds me I could make a handle for my cast iron pan, instead of always looking for the right size!
