Welcome back to another edition of Show Your Stuff. This Week I am showing off another cookie recipe. The original recipe called for using Wheaties, but I substituted it with corn flakes. It does have a chewy crunchy texture, and it is delicious.
So here is the recipe:
1/2 c butter
So here is the recipe:
1/2 c butter
1c brown sugar
2 eggs
1t vanilla
1 1/4 c flour
1t baking powder
1/2 t salt
1cup chopped nuts
4 cups corn flakes
Mix butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla together. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Mix in with butter mixture along with the nuts. Carefully fold in the corn flakes. Bake in 350 degree oven 8-10 minutes.
I came across your recipe for these cookies and for the ingredits list you have baking powder then in the process of mixing together you have baking soda.Could you tell me witch one is correct? I don't want to put the wrong one in and then the mix would be a flop.Thank you so much, and for sharing this recipe.
