New Shelled Sock Pattern

Pin It Edited April 10, 2011 I was in the mood to make crocheted socks. I was going to make these cabled socks: http://www.scribd.com/doc/1084574/Cabled-Socks I got the toes done and started to work the cables and did not like how it was working out, so I decided to go with a shelled pattern I created: Materials: finger weight sock yarn Size B hook. Toe Chain 8 Round 1: 3 sc in 2nd chain from hook, sc in the next 5 chain, 3 sc in the last chain, working on the opposite side of the foundation, sc in the free loop on the next 5 chain, (16 sc) Round 2: working in continuous rounds, sc in next sc, 3 sc in the next sc, sc in next 7 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in the next 7 sc, (20 sc) Rounds 3-9: work 2 sc increase at each side of the foot, work sc across toes (24, 28, 32, 36, 40, 44, 48, sc) Start shell pattern: Row 1: sc in next stitch (mark this stitch), skip 2 sc, 5 dc in next stitch (shell made) *skip 2 sc, sc in next stitch, skip 2 sc, shell in next stitch...

Many people have asked how to change the size of this pattern. Donut Fidget Toy

This project was inspired by my most popular crochet tutorial on YouTube , my Mobius Fidget Toy. Materials: worsted weight yarn, size 4 size g hook or any yarn and hook size you would like as a donut. scissors yarn needle stuffing of your choosing - the green donut in the picture has a marble in it. - I have used leftover yarn scraps and have used small pieces of plastic grocery bags - of course, you can use Polyfil.
