Pretty in Purple

It is only a coincidence that two of the finished projects are purple.
My first project is a hanging towel made with Sugar n Cream cotton yarn. I used a variation of the classic shell pattern. I am using the same stitch pattern in a shawl I am making. I hope to have more photos of that soon.
The next project is a flowered scarf. I did not make the flowers. I pick up the flowers and extra yarn that was donated to my church. I connected the flowers with a simple net pattern to make a scarf. So now I am wondering if I should keep the scarf, sell it, or donate it back to the church.
For the fun of it, I made a heart tree in my sketch book. Drawing is not my forte, but it is fun to do once in a while. My brother and my son are artists. I will share this with Sunday Sketches.

  4. The hanging towel looks nice. I had only seen crochet towel toppers until now, but I really like this idea. Did you make up this pattern?

  6. I love the lacy, feminine look of shell stitches. I use it often on edge blankets for little girls but I recently discovered the slanted shell stitch and have been going crazy making everything I can with it!
I would love if you shared this at our Yarn Fanatic Link Party - http://eyeloveknots.blogspot.com/2015/02/yarn-fanatic-linky-party-23-expression.html.
