Simple Stash Buster Blanket

Here is a good project to go through left over yarn and/or you want to do something simple and relatively quick.

I used a variety of different types of yarn, for the most part I used worsted weight.

I used a size K hook, but there really is no gauge. you can use a hook size and yarn size of your choice.
ch 9
Dc in 4th chain from hook.
Ch 2, dc in the next 4 chain, ch 2
2 dc in the last ch, ch 2
4 dc along the other side of foundation row. Ch 2, slip stitch to top of chain 3, slip stitch to ch 2 space.

Repeat these next three rows throughout.

Row 1: ch 3, dc in same space, ch 2, 2 dc again in the same space,[ dc in each dc until you reach the next ch 2 space. (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next ch 2 space] Repeat twice, dc in each dc until end of row. slip stitch to ch 2 space.

Note: It might be challenge to dc on top of slipped stitched dc's from the previous row.

Row 2 and 3: ch 5,  dc again in the same space,[ dc in each dc until you reach the next ch 2 space. (dc, ch 2, dc) in next ch 2 space] Repeat twice, dc in each dc until end of row. slip stitch to ch 2 space.

Repeat these three rows until you reach your desired blanket length.

Here is a quick tip on changing colors, change to new color at the final stage of making a dc. In other words, you do the final yarn over in the new color.
Here is a video on how to make the blanket
