My grandson wanted me to make a back pack.
I made one based off a shoulder bag pattern I had. I am not sure if it going to be suitable as it looks a little feminine. Not to mention that he wanted it in blue and red.
It has blue and red in it, but it has a variety and shades and other colors. I also don't think I made the straps big enough to fit over the shoulders. However it does make for a cute handbag.
