Make the facial features on the snowman. Put in the safety eyes or sew some eyes. I did a french knot in orange for the nose. I did not sew in a mouth because it would have been covered up by the scarf, but you can sew in a mouth.

Round 29: *sc2tog* around (6 sc) fill in the final tier, and finish off the snowman.

Making the arms:

Locate where you want the arm on your snowman, Slip stitch around the sc and chain 10, slip stitch in the second chain from the hook and the next sc. ch 3, slip stitch in the second chain from the hook, and the remaining chains. finish off and do the other arm.

Making The Scarf

Chain 30 or desired length,  sc in the second chain from the hook and in each chain across. chain 1, sc in each sc. Finish off,  add fringe if desired

Wrap the scarf around the snowman as you like and sew it into place.

[Working in the back loops, sc in the second chain from the hook, and in each chain across. chain 1] repeat 12 more times, 14 rows total

Slip-stitch or sew the first and last rows together to form, the hat gather and close one end of the hat.
