Small Trinket Basket

This is a cute little basket. It is done with two strands of yarn held together. If you want to make this basket bigger or smaller. you can easily adjust the size of the base or add or take away the rows that make up the side of the basket. So let us go on with the instructions on how to make this basket, it does come with a video tutorial.

Materials:

about 2 ounces of worsted-weight yarn, about size 4 yarn

Size I crochet hook

scissors

yarn needles

With two strand of yarn held together:

Make a magic ring or chain 4 to make and join to make a ring.

Row 1: 8 sc in the ring

Work in continuous rounds

Row 2: 2 sc in every sc

Row 3: [2sc in the first stitch, sc in the next stitch] Repeat around

Row 4: [2sc in the first stitch, sc in the next 2 stitches] Repeat around

Row 5: [2sc in the first stitch, sc in the next 3 stitches] Repeat around

Row 6: [2sc in the first stitch, sc in the next 4 stitches] Repeat around

Row 7: slip stitch in the next stitch, ch 1, sc AROUND each sc

Row 8-10: working in continuous, sc in each sc

Row 11: repeat row 7

Row 12-14: working in continuous, sc in each sc

Row 15: sc in the first stitch, skip the next sc, 5 sc in the next sc, [ skip the next sc, sc in the next stitch, skip the next stitch, 5 sc in the next sc] repeat around, skip the last sc. join with the first sc, Finish off
