Popcorn Granny Square with Joining Squares as you Go #crochet

Here I have a tutorial on how to make this popcorn granny square. What inspired me to make this is watching this video from Just Another Stitch.  Connie has a crochet-a-long on making a granny square blanket from August until December. I knew I wanted to make something different other than the traditional granny square. I came up with this popcorn stitch. I also have instructions on how to join the squares as you go. I just don't like sewing the squares together. I also have a video on how to make the square. I have had the video out for a few weeks already.

I am using a size H hook and size 4 worsted-weight yarn to make this blanket. I have instructions on how to make the square starting each round in a chain 2 corner and I have instructions on how to start the next row working in the previous space of the row before.

Special stitches:

Popcorn Stitch (PS): 5 dc in space indicated, take the hook out of the 5th dc, insert it into the first dc, draw the loop from the fifth dc.

Make a magic ring or chain 4 and slip stitch to make a ring.
