Towel Holder

 This towel holder makes it easy to hang towels.




Materials:

2 hair ties or 3-4 inch craft ring

5 mm hook or size H hook

worsted weight cotton yarn 

scissors

yarn needle

Special Stitch (SP) : insert the hook in the stitch just finished, draw up a loop, insert the hook in the next stitch and draw up a loop, yarn over a draw through all 3 loops.



Around the first hair tie: 40 sc around the hair. if using a craft ring, you may need to add more. Join slip stitch with the first sc.

Repeat this row until you have a band that is the desired length: ch1, sc in the first stitch, SP 7 times, turn

Once you have the desired length, finish off.

With a second hair tie or craft ring, 40 sc or more if needed, join and finish off leaving a long tail.

Sew the second hair tie or ring to the band. Finish off any loose ends.
