Horseshoe Socks - In Worst Weight Yarn

I broke two DP needles making these socks. I broke one of my bamboo needles, then I had a plastic about the same size as the bamboo needle. Ended up breaking that needle too. I eventually went a metal needle. I hardly use Red Heart Super Saver yarn for socks, but did end up using some left over yellow yarn to make these socks.

I have been lazy lately with writing out my patterns for my socks, but I have also been busy lately with college and work, so here is some info to get started on some a great pair of horseshoe patterned socks.

I used 44 stitches to make these socks, I always Put half of my stitches on the first needles and divide the remaining stitches on needle 2 and 3. That way I don't have to move stitches around when it comes time to make the heal flap.

Here is the Horseshoe Pattern for these socks:

Row 2: K
Row 3: P1 *K1,YO,K2,S1, K2Tog, pass slipped stitch over K2Tog,K2,YO,K1,P1*
Row 4: *P1, K9,* twice, P1

Row 6: *P1, K9,* twice, P1
