  2. Oooo, pretty, thank you for sharing your pattern! I'm hitting the yarn shop today as I've been pining to make some crochet lace socks. Because the 3,487 pairs of socks I have apparently aren't enough.

    1. So long as none of the socks cost over 1,000$. Because then I could say you have a problem.

  3. Hi, Firstly thank you for sharing this pattern, it is very pretty, and I am wondering why you left the toe open?
I don't understand that last direction. Do you start with the top or the toe of this sock? I have never made a pair before, but would like to try it.

    1. These socks are worked from the top down. I think I left the toe off at the time is I have seen yoga sock with an open toe and thought that was cool. If you want to include a toe, do a row of 42 stitches around, then decrease 2 stitches at each of ends (decrease 4 per row) until you are down to about 10. Then finish off by closing the toe.

  4. Gorgeous and very excited to try these! However after crocheting the first row, I'm wondering if they're going to fit on over my heel :( are they generous / stretchy? Is there a way I can make them a bit bigger if I need to?

    1. I haven't worked with this sock in a while. The socks did fit around my heal. To be honest I have made this sock adding in a toe and heel:
