So here is the pattern:
With an E hook, chain 11
Sc in the 2nd chain from hook and sc across.
Row 1: Ch 2, dc in the next 2 sc, Skip 3 sc, tr in the next three sc. Working behind (or in front if you like) of the 3 tr, tr in the skipped 3 sc, dc in the last 2 sc.
Row 2: ch 1, sc in each stitch across.
Repeat rows 1-2 nine more times or desired length.

Buttonhole rows:
ch1, sc in the next 4 sc, ch2, skip next 2 sc, sc in remaining 4 sc. ch1, sc in each stitch across, don't turn.
ch1, reverse sc in each stitch across. Finish off
