Coaster Pattern

This coaster has the same edge as my Baby Hat Pattern and my Lacy Scarf Pattern. It is my favorite edge. I am make a bunch of these coasters for my next craft fair.
So here is the pattern:
Using worsted weight cotton yarn and a G hook.

Round 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in second chain from hook, I did not join and worked on to the next round.

Round 2: 2 sc in each of the next 6 sc, slip stitch in the next sc, ch 3.

Round 3: *2 dc in the next sc, dc in the next sc* repeat around ending with 2 dc, join at top of ch 3, ch 1

Round 4: sc in top of ch 3 and in next dc, 2 sc in next dc
*sc in the next 2 dc, 2 sc in next dc:* repeat around, slip stitch in first sc.

Round 5:  Ch 7, dc in the 4th chain from hook dc again is the same sc where the ch 7 began,
*sk 1 sc, dc in the next sc, ch3 dc in the top of dc just made, dc in the same sc as the previous dc.* repeat around and join with the 4th chain of the beginning ch 7. Finish off.

  1. HI, I love your patterns, thank you so much for allowing to try them ourselves. Can you tell me what is the type and color of yarn you used for the Coaster Pattern" It almost looks like tye-dye. Thanks so much

  2. The yarn I used at the time is Sugar and Cream cotton yarn.

  3. I love the way you have these wonderful patterns and the easy way I can print them thankyou thankyou!!!!

  4. In reading through your pattern it says you did not join from the first round to the next.
Does that mean you worked in a continuous spiral?
