Garland Patterns

I started to work on some garland for Christmas.

So here is how I did it.




Popcorn pattern:


Ch 5, [YO 2 times.
Insert hook in first chain made. (5th from hook)
YO draw a loop. YO and draw through 2 loops twice.] repeat in brackets 4 more times. YO and draw through all 6 loops.

Repeat for desired garland length.

Small flag garland:

*Ch 5,
Slip stitch in 2nd ch from hook.
Sc in next ch
Hdc in next ch
Dc in next ch.* repeat for desired garland length.

  3. That garland is beautiful! I've been thinking about spinning some art yarn to use as garland...but as I type the decorations are coming out so...maybe for next year.
