Sneaker Baby Booties

This is a really cute pair of booties.
First of all, the inspiration for these sock come from my favorite easy adult sock. I already have a few patterns based off this pattern.

My booties measured 4 inches from toe to heel.

Materials:
Size e hook
Sport/ baby weight yarn

Ch 20
Row 1: sc in second chain from hook and in each chain across, ch 1, turn.

Work in back loops through Row 16:
Row 2-3: sc in  sc, ch 1, turn:
Row 4: sc in next 9 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in remaining 9, ch 1, turn
Row 5: sc in next 9, 2 sc in the next 3 sc, sc in the next 9 sc, ch 1, turn
Row 6: sc in next 9,*2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc* repeat twice, sc in remaining 9, ch 1, turn
Row 7-10: sc across, ch 1, turn
Row 11: sc in next 9,*sc 2 tog, sc in next sc* repeat twice, sc in remaining 9, ch 1, turn
Row 12: sc in next 9,*sc 2 tog* repeat twice, sc in remaining 9, ch 1, turn
Row13: sc in next 9, sc 3 tog, sc in remaining 9, ch 1, turn
Row 14-15: sc across,  ch 1, turn
Row 16: sc across,  ch 1

Toe:
Turn work on side:
Row 1: 16 sc even across
Row 2: Don't turn, working in both loops and in continuous rounds,  *sc 2 tog, sc in next 2 sc* four times.
Row 2: sc even
Row 3: *sc 2 tog, sc in next sc* four times. 
Sew up toe and sew up 5 stitches from toe.
Create 4 eyelets on each side

Attach at upper left-hand corner with slip stitch, slip stitch in next stitch, ch 2 *sl in next 2 stitches, ch 2, skip next stitch* repeat two more times. Slip in next stitch, Sc in next stitch, in center seam, sc in next stitch, slip in next stitch *ch 2, skip next stitch, slip in next 2* repeat three more times,  finish off.

Laces: 

ch 75,  finish off-chain, lace in booties.
