Yarn Haul

I thought I would I would show off some of my recent yarn purchases on Amazon.  First I had the glow in the dark yarn on my Amazon wish list for a while already and I finally ordered it. I definitely glows in the dark. It is fingering weight. I wish it was a little thicker, but that is o.k. I will try to figure out what to make with it.

I bought the Sunny Cat and Yonkey Monkey yarns because I like the names. How can you not smile at the names. These yarn are also fingering weight. Maybe I will make a shawl with these, I am not sure yet.

I like the colors for Red Heart, Its a Wrap. It also is fingering weight. I will likely make this into a wrap simply because that what's on the label.

I got a large cone of Sugar and Cream. I already have made a few projects with it to include a potholder, scrubby, and a towel holder.

To wrap up my yarn haul, I have Lion Brand Cotton Blend and Red Heart Reflective.  I was tricked by Amazon in getting the green and grey reflective yarn when I was looking at the glow-in-the-dark yarn when I saw that these yarns were with "Frequently Bought Together" along with the glow-in-the-dark yarn. I thought, what the heck, and bought the reflective yarns thinking I would make something with the glow-in-the-dark yarn . Because the reflective yarn is bulky weight, I am not going to make a project with glow-in-the-dark yarn. I did make a hat with the reflective yarn. I followed Bag-O-Day Crochet video to make the hat. I did modify it slightly because I started with many more stitches.

The hat is a little big on me, but I rather have my hats a little loose than too tight.

Here is the You Tube Video for the hat:

Here are the Amazon links if you would like to purchase the yarns I got.
