Welcome to May's Pinterest Challenge! The purpose of this Pinterest Challenge is to motivate us to not just pin, but to make it happen!
This month's challenge is to do a Father's Day/ Mancave project.
The project I decided to make is a remote caddy for over the arm chair. I have done this project before using up some scrap yarn. (see previous post here)
One skein of Mainstays yarn from Wal-Mart was just enough to complete this project.
To made this remote caddy, I followed a You Tube Video. I did it in gray to closely match the armchair it is meant to go on.
This is handy in storing your remotes and maybe your phone and other stuff. I even weaved in my phone charger in between the stitches. Right now it is on my chair, but it will eventually make it's way to my husband's chair. Here is the You Tube video I followed to make this caddy:

Boy, do I need this.....just wish I knew how to knit and/or crochet! For some reason I have never mastered that skill! Cute idea
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool, Julie! What a great way to keep all of those remotes and what-nots together! I sure could use one of these!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea! We are always looking for our remotes; mostly because my guys do not believe in putting the remote back where they found it. Perhaps we need a "home" like this one. Pinned.
ReplyDeleteAh, this is excellent! I've seen the pattern on the Moogly site. I like your version! Perfect caddy for a recliner or sofa.

For "the king of the remote," this is just what hubby or dad needs ~ nifty idea!
ReplyDeleteI don't crochet, but I have often wanted to make something similar for our remotes. Great idea!
ReplyDeleteThat is so practical, what a great idea. Remotes are all over the place in our house. It still baffles me that we need so many! :-D
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! Looks nice.
