I made this sensory Bobble Blanket with my grandson in mind. I found out on a recent trip that he likes textured items.
It does not matter what yarn thickness you use; just use the appropriate hook size.
Make a foundation chain that is divisible by 4, and add 2
Foundation row: hdc in the second chain from the hook, *sc in the next stitch, skip the next stitch, and make a bobble stitch, skip 1* repeat until the end, and hdc in the last stitch, ch 1 and turn
Bobble Stitch = *yarn over, insert the hook in the stitch indicated, draw up a loop, yarn over and draw through 2 loops* repeat 4 more times, yarn over and draw through all 6 loops
One Row Repeat: hdc in the first dc, sc on top of the bobble from the previous row, and bobble on top of the sc. hdc
I made a video tutorial on how to make it.
