I made a short video on a project I am currently working on. In this video I will show how to do a one row repeat of a textured rib. This one row repeat features the front post and a back post double crochet.
It is my intention to create a short video, or #shorts. Most #shorts you see are usually about 1 minute or less, maybe 2 minutes top. My video is a little over three minutes, but it is a short crochet tutorial.
To make this scarf, I used worsted weight yarn and a size I hook. Feel free to use whatever yarn and hook size you like.
Make a foundation chain that is dividable by 4 plus 3. I did a chain of 27.
Foundation row: dc in the second chain from the hook and in each chain across. For my scarf I had 25 double crochets.
One Row Repeat: ch 2 (does not count as a dc) *FPDC around the next 2 dc, BPDC around the next 2 dc* repeat until you reach the last dc, FPDC around that. Just repeat this row until you have the desired length.
