Cozy Neck Cowl

Welcome to a new year and a new Sustainable Craft Challenge. This year this group made some changes. It is not a requirement to reference Pinterest. But I do have a Pin that this is based on the cowl found here. I did mine in the moss stitch, which is doing single crochet and chain 1, the single crochet is done in the chain 1 spaces.

I used the yarn I already had in my stash. I had Comfy Cotton Blend yarn left over. I didn’t make my foundation row long enough. Instead of ripping it out, I extended a few inches on the end. It was going to be covered up anyway when the other end was going to be laid over it. One end of the scarf is laid over the other end and is secured at the lower end with a round of single crochet. I finish it off with my favorite edging.
