The Popcorn Granny Square Blanket Is Done

The popcorn granny square blanket that I started in August is finally done! What got me started on doing this project was watching this video from Just Another Stitch.

I made 100 squares with two rows of just the popcorn stitch and a final row of single-crochet.

The final blanket measured about a 50-inch square. As a reminder, I did join the squares as I went. I don't like making motifs in general and I don't like the task of sewing the squares together. I used up my spare acrylic yarn for the blanket.  The yarn was mostly 4-weight yarn and I used an H hook. I do like the BOHO look and I get to use up my leftover yarn.

I still have to share my finished work for the granny square project that was first announced in this video from Just Another Stitch.

I have been featuring the blanket progress regularly on my YouTube Channel with a final video coming out soon.
