I used yarn left over from my dress and my fingerless gloves to make a hat.
I totally winged it when it comes to this hat. I liked the concept, but you might notice the decrease it too much and the hat doesn't fit well. Back to the drawing board for me.
I created a black and white photo to share with The Weekend in Black and White.
The Styrofoam head I got just for the purpose of photographing hats is small (or smaller than my head) The hat fits well on the it. I made end up giving it to one of my grandkids. If I do end up giving the hat away, I would have to let the recipient know to hand wash it because the red yarn I used in the hat is 100 percent wool.

A nice cap, the pattern is very interesting! I have never seen that before, I like it very much!
ReplyDeleteI like your fingerless gloves, and the dress. Such a shame the hat didn't work out as you wanted. It looks good on the smaller head ;)
