Taking Pictures of Shawls

 I have always found it a challenge to take pictures of scarves and shawls. I guess that is why some people have mannequins. I had laid out the shawl on my bed.

So this is a shawl I made using some of the yarn I had left over from my dress. I used a Solomon Knot, or a Love knot to make this shawl. I like making the Solomon's knot. It works out pretty quick once you get the hang of making them. Here is a You Tube video on how to make the knot and pretty much how I made the shawl. The thing to remember is to make an even number of knots for the foundation row.

So going back on how to make better pictures of shawls, I am up for suggestions.
