size g hook
a stitch marker to hold the dropped stitch

Do Not Turn! Drop color A and hold the loop with the stitch marker.
Row 1: Going back to the beginning of the foundation row, join color B with the first sc, sc and dc in the same sc *skip the next dc, sc and dc in the next sc* repeat until you reach the last two stitches sc in the last stitch, Put the loop of the color A back on the hook, drop color B by doing a slip stitch. Turn
Row 2: ch 1, skip the first sc, sc and dc in the next dc, *skip next sc, sc and dc in the next dc* repeat until the end, sc in the last sc, Do Not Turn! Drop color A and hold the loop with the stitch marker.
Row 3: going back to the beginning of row 2: pick up color B in the first sc, ch 1, sc and dc in the same sc *skip the next dc, sc and dc in the next sc* repeat until you reach the last two stitches sc in the last stitch, Put the loop of the color A back on the hook, drop color B by doing a slip stitch. Repeat rows 2 and 3 until you have the desired length, however, when you finish row 2 for the last time, you can just finish off the end.
The last time you do row 3, you can add a border by going around the other three sides in the established sc and dc pattern.
