Soloman Grid Shawl or Scarf

My newest pattern is a Solomon Knot Grid. This is simply a one-row repeat of Solomon knots and double crochets.

To make a Solomon Knot: YO and draw up a loop that is 1/2 -1 inch, insert the hook in the loop and draw up another loop, YO and draw up the two loops on the hook. Check out the video for more details.

You can use any yarn and hook size. I used a size 4 weight yarn and a size g hook.

Foundation row :*ch1, make a Solomon knot* repeat this until you have the length or width you want, and turn.

Row 1: ch 3, *make a Solomon knot, dc into the ch 1,* repeat until end of the row, turn.

Row 2: ch 3 *make a Solomon knot, dc into the dc,* repeat until end of the row, turn

Repeat row two until you are done to your satisfaction. Finish off.

Here is the video on how to make the scarf.
