Crochet Ring Hat with Invisible Join

I was inspired to make this hat after doing a Bag-O-Day Hat. I liked the ridges that were formed in one of her hats. I created this hat with the ridges in mind and created the ring effect around the hat, that is why it is called the ring hat. The first hat I did I joined each row with a slip stitch, I did not like how that looked it was obvious where the rounds ended and it broke the rings. I went to search for an invisible crochet in rounds and I found one.

In this hat, I had tried the invisible join and it worked out, except you could still tell where the rows ended because the color shifted.

To make the hat:

Materials:

Size 4 worsted weight yarn

Size J hook or 6mm

scissors and yarn needle

Note: Join after each round with the invisible join. With the invisible join, you draw up a loop on the last stitch of the round. Keep the working yarn behind the work, skip the first stitch in the round, insert your hook from the back, and draw the loop from the last stitch of the round. When you get to the end of the round, the last stitch of the round is done in the first stitch you skipped. Check out the video tutorial to see how it is done.

Make a magic ring or ch 4 and slip stitch with the first chain to make a ring.
