Seamless Crochet Hat

I did a video tutorial back in May for this seamless crochet hat. I had initially used Lion Brand Quick and Thick yarn. However, you don't have to use a bulky yarn. You could use a thinner yarn if you like.



You could use any yarn and an appropriate hook size. You just have to make the appropriate measurements.

Create a magic ring, or ch 4 to create a ring

Round 1: in the ring, make 3 single crochet (sc) and 9 double crochet (dc). 12 stitches

Working in continuous rounds

Round 2: 2dc in each stitch

Round 3: *2 dc in the next stitch, 1 dc in the next stitch* around

Keep increasing 6 stitches per round until the crown measures 6 1/2- 7 inches, or check out this hat sizing chart on this website.

dc even around until the hat measures 7 inches from top to bottom or the desired length.


Last round: dc in every stitch until the last 3 stitches of the row, sc in the last three stitches.


You may add an additional round of sc if you like, finish off.
