Small Shell Washcloth

Here is a new dishcloth tutorial. You can make the project bigger by making your foundation chain a number dividable by 3 plus 1.

Materials:

Size 3 or 4 cotton yarn

size g hook

scissors

yarn needle

Foundation row: ch 34, sc in the second ch from hook, skip 1 ch, *3 sc in the next ch (shell made), skip 2 ch* repeat until you are at the last ch, sc in the last ch, ch 1, and turn. (10 small shells)

Row 1: sc in the first sc, skip next sc, 3 sc in the next stitch, *skip 2 sc, 3 sc in the next stitch* repeat until 2 sc remain, skip the next sc and sc in the next sc.

Repeat row 1 until you have 22 rows

Small shell border.

Turn the work to the side, 6 sc in the corner, do 10 small shells evenly along the side, 6 sc in the corner, do 10 small shells along the foundation row, 6 sc in the corner, do 10 small shells along the other side, do 6 sc in the last corner, and do the 10 small shells along the top, join with the first sc and finish off.
