First Magic Loop Project

Here is my first project using the magic loop method. It is not a sock. It is going to be a purse. I wanted try the technique for making the tube. Soon I will venture into socks.

Merry Christmas

It had been a productive day for me. I finished up wrapping up the remaining Christmas presents, made up some chocolate chip cookies for my in-laws, and finished up my socks. I liked the fact that I worked on both socks as the same time, however I was not a fan on how I did it. So now I am going to scoop my driveway and I still have to work this evening.

Today's projects will involved getting ready for Christmas. I have to finish wrapping presents and do some baking for the in-laws. The weather is nasty so that may put a damper on holiday traveling.

Making Both Socks at Once

This is the first time I am making both socks at once. It involves a set of 5 DP needles and one long cable needle. Unfortunately the needles are different sizes. At least these socks are going to be warm. It is made with Wool Ease yarn .

I recently came back from a family trip in Lincoln, NE. I completed this project on the car trip. My scanner could not fit the entire project. It is five sided with triangles in it. There is no pattern for this (yet), I made it up as I went along.

While I was out doing my Christmas shopping, I came across necklaces made with yarn in a local art gallery selling for $20.00. So this inspired me to make some.
